BioSpec Mini Bead Beater

The BioSpec Mini-BeadBeater is a high-energy cell disruptor that efficiently homogenizes microbial cells, plant, and animal tissues in sealed microvials using bead-beating technology, ideal for nucleic acid isolation, protein recovery, and dry/cryo-grinding with no cross-contamination.

Capacity: Processes 1–24 screw-cap microvials (0.5, 1.5, 2.0 mL) or one deep-well plate, handling up to 400 mg (wet weight) per vial
Shaking Speed: Variable, 2000–3450 strokes/min, with a 0.75-inch vial displacement for efficient disruption
Timer: Digital, 0–5 minutes with auto-restart, no motor cool-down required between runs
Bead Types: Compatible with glass, zirconia, or steel beads (0.1–2.5 mm) for various sample types, including resistant tissues
