The Eppendorf Centrifuge 5425 R is a compact, refrigerated microcentrifuge designed for high-throughput molecular and cell biology applications, including DNA/RNA purification, protein separation, and sample preparation in tubes from 0.2 to 5 mL. As a successor to the 5424 R, it features whisper-quiet operation (average 45 dB(A) for short runs), an advanced cooling system for precise temperature control down to -10°C, six rotor options for versatility, and ergonomic QuickLock lids. It ensures reliable, vibration-free performance with fast pre-cooling (8 minutes to 4°C) and compatibility with the VisioNize system for remote monitoring.
