The Physitemp TCAT-2 is a general-purpose PID autotuning temperature controller designed for precise temperature regulation in laboratory settings, particularly for maintaining animal body temperature during surgery or stereotaxic procedures using heat lamps, heating pads, or blankets, and also suitable for cooling applications like perfusate cooling systems.
