Thermo MaxQ 2508 Benchtop Orbital Shaker

Open-air, dual-action orbital, or side-to-side action ideal for applications such as growing bacteria, dissolution studies, and staining electrophoresis gels. The shaking action is both side-to-side and orbital, giving users the flexibility for gentle to vigorous agitation with simple control. Speed can be set from 40rpm to 400 rpm and with both continuous operation and up to a 60-minute timed mode from the upfront analog control. To swap between modes, a simple lever at the front can be engaged, giving you 0.4in / 1.2cm movement in either orbit or stroke.

The 11 x 13″ platform can accept up to 15lbs of weight and operate in environments up to 40°C and 80% non-condensing humidity. A model with a high-sided tray is also available.  This allows the MaxQ 2508 to be used in warms rooms, environmental chambers, and refrigerators. The Thermo MaxQ 2508 can be used with a variety of platforms and clamps or with a universal platform without clamps.
