The Thermo Scientific TSX Series Ultra-Low Freezers combine reliability, sustainability, and advanced temperature management. Powered by V-drive technology, these freezers adapt to user patterns, optimizing compressor speed to reduce energy and HVAC costs while maintaining performance. Available in four capacities (400, 500, 600, and 700 2-inch boxes), they accommodate diverse storage needs and lab footprints. Built in a zero-waste facility with natural refrigerants and water-blown foam insulation, the TSX Series complies with EPA’s SNAP and EU’s F-Gas standards.

With peak temperature variation under 5°C and a long warm-up time of 5.05 hours from -50°C to -80°C, samples remain secure throughout the cabinet. Operating at a quiet 45.5 dBA, these freezers are lab-friendly. The redesigned touch-screen interface offers a set-up wizard, event log, temperature mapping, and USB data export, eliminating separate chart recorders. Ergonomic features include a comfortable door handle, eye-level display, and shelf-level rack placement. Security is enhanced with alarm settings, padlock-compatible doors, and optional access card entry. Compatible with Thermo Scientific racks for boxes, microplates, Matrix, and Nunc CryoBank tubes, the TSX Series ensures flexibility and protection.
